Xavier Coll

Xavier Coll is a Director of Photography who brings a creative, forward-thinking approach to every project. He plans shoots with maximum anticipation, selects gear based on what the project actually needs, and stays open to experimentation. Sometimes a compact Sony FX3 is more effective than an Arri. It all depends on what the client is after.

His speciality is documentary work, where real stories demand improvisation and the ability to react in the moment. That documentary instinct carries over into everything he shoots, keeping the work fresh and unforced.

Notable projects include campaigns for Visit Jordan, shot in extraordinary locations such as the Wadi Rum desert and Shobak. He has also worked on feature films and the Amazon Prime documentary Give Me Wings, as well as branded content for Sanitas and Net Zero Journeys.

Xavi values collaboration. Working hand in hand with the director, proposing ideas, and bringing that creative extra the producer and director want to see. He believes the best work comes from projects that breathe, that feel alive rather than canned.
